A Grammar for Geometry

Meshing is the unglamorous bottleneck of simulation. What if a model could generate it the way a language model generates text — one token of geometry at a time?

I am building an autoregressive model that learns to produce mesh for CAD data, exploring how the transformer recipe transfers from sentences to surfaces.

It is the most speculative thing I work on, and the most alive: the moment the generated geometry first held its shape felt like watching a sentence finish itself.
